Love poetry 1
Every time we embrace,
I go to that far away place
When we just walk hand in hand.
I’m in never, never land.
Whenever I look into your eyes,
I begin to get butterflies,
Then my heart skips a beat,
And our lips passionately meet.
You are always on my mind,
Your face is all it can find.
I think about you every day
And know it’ll work out somehow, some way.
Some say we’re dumb and foolish
Some say we should do as we wish
But all my heart could ever do
Is tell you that I’ll always LOVE YOU.
Love poetry 2
If you're going to stay, Stay forever.
If you're going to leave, Then do it today.
If you're going to change, Change for the better.
And if you're going to talk, Make sure you mean what you say
Love poetry 3
The way you breath makes me calm
The way you speak makes me warm
The way you see right through me
You make me the girl that I want to be
The way you smell, your perfume It is like to be in Heaven, I assume
The way you taste, better than any chocolate
The way we fit together, it must be fate
The way you smile makes me want to kiss you
The way I am when I am with you, I could never be blue
The way you stole my heart and kept it
The way we belong to each other, we fit
The way I will miss you until the next time we meet
The way we are perfect, together we are complete
All these things I love about you
But most the way you love me too
I love you' is all I want you to say
We are perfect in every way
Love poetry 4
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of every day’s
Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood’s faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,—I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!—and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
Love poetry 5
I decrypt your finest posts
Haul oneself out, softly of wings of the pain
Permeates me of everything who makes my happiness
And all my being becomes wise.
I read these words that never belong to anyone
That I wrote almost like a prayer
When you’re fighting alone in this hell
That I do not want to anyone.
If you can still love me
Face the fate that strikes you
Do not wait that anger overtakes you
Trying to no longer hurt me.
At the height of this love, there is one thing that I remember
I stay true to myself
Faithful to the one I love
I forgive you, I belong to you.
Love poetry 6
My love for you
Is more delicate
Than new leaves
Of spring.
My love for you
Is more fragrant
Than rose buds
To bloom.
My love for you
Is more brilliant
Than morning rays
Of sun.
My love for you
Is far deeper
Than still water
Of lake.
My love for you
I hold it dear
You merely glance
Let go.
Love poetry 7
You brought me sunshine,
when I only saw rain.
You brought me laughter,
when I only felt pain.
Romantics at heart?
Love at first sight?
Have I known you before?
God! This feels
Love poetry 8
This lie's become a part of me
For months, I've played this game
Acting like it doesn't hurt
Each time I hear his name
Ignoring what's inside of me
Pretending I've moved on
As if the feelings I once had
For him are somehow gone
Spending each and every day
With happiness and laughs
Forgetting all our memories
Avoiding photographs
But last night when I saw him
For the first time since he left
My heart stopped for a moment...
I couldn't catch my breath
When suddenly it hit me
As the tears started to flow
That even after all this time...
I just can't let him go
